How does psychiatry get away with forcing people diagnosed with schizophrenia to take drugs? They’ve convinced the public and families that sufferers are a risk to society if not on the drugs. It’s the only way they can get away with it. They have the public's approval.

Psychosis is difficult to explain to people, I have found. They’re afraid of me. They don’t talk to me. They were all there for me when I was thinking I was going to be murdered, but then when I came back 2 yrs later and said sorry, was crazy.. no one knows what to do or say 😞

This morning, I stood with the NYC Health Commissioner and mental health advocates to introduce my Michelle Alyssa Go Act repealing the IMD exclusion and allow facilities with more than 16 beds to be reimbursed by Medicaid.
